Best experience I've had in Germany so far. A must do if you want to get your feet wet and whistle as well :). Food was absolutely .........Amazing! I recommend eggs and cheese in the morning. Whoever is cooking behind the scenes deserves a big thumbs up!!!!!!! well done!
Steg 1 review: food was OK but nothing special. Be aware that you can only pay with EC (German debit card) or cash. No credit cards accepted. As a foreign tourist this is challenging. For a restaurant being part of a hotel I would have expected credit cards are accepted.
In early January my wife and me returned to the hotel at 1300 and found the door to our room wedged open (by the cleaning staff we presume) and until 1830 no one came and wanted to close the door (or wanted the wedge and hotel card back). The reception was surprisingly unconcerned about this - leaving doors open to guests rooms for 51/2 hours is obviously not considered a great thing. My mail afterwards to the general manager of the hotel has been left unanswered. We believe in security and safety and cannot condone this lax attitude of both staff and management and will not return to the hotel. We recommend you to do the same.
