Strathburn Hotel Inverurie by Compass Hospitality

We had a lovely family meal and highly recommend. Good setting, well priced and tasty food ( loved the apple and cinnamon tart with custard!). We were served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. We will definitely go back again.

Cheapest hotel, for a night. Nice entrance, gives a coach hotel vibe. Big entrance and bar area and the decor. Staff were a bit mad, not much customer service going on. Room was big enough, no biscuits on the tea tray. Bathroom was ok, mouldy bits around the bath. Plenty of hot water. Bed was a bit hard for my liking and the pillows have been well used. Would stay only if it was cheap, cheap.

Could do with updating but the staff were really friendly and dealt with issues promptly, bed was uncomfortable but they did provide a mattress topper which made it slightly better, breakfast was ok and the location is ideal.
