Strozzi Palace Hotel

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and outstanding staff. The hotel’s location is unbeatable - just steps from Florence’s most iconic landmarks. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, offering both comfort and elegance. The service through our stay was exceptional. Truly a flawless experience from start to finish. We chose to stay at the Strozzi Palace Hotel to mark the upcoming first anniversary of my business, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the front desk team for their outstanding hospitality. From the moment we checked in until our departure, they made us feel genuinely welcome—attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. If you're looking for a place to unwind, this hotel offers the perfect setting. It combines a unique charm with a lively, energetic atmosphere in the evenings, creating a memorable and enjoyable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Not a 4 star hotel. The service was friendly and in a good location. When entering the hotel you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to a extremely small elevator. We were given room 51. This was in the attic of the hotel on the 5th floor. The elevator only goes up to the 4th floor, then you need to climb up a flight of stairs. Someone did bring our bags to our room but we had to carry them down. If you look at the pictures of the rooms on the website it does not show this room. The room was fine but definitely not what is shown in the pictures. No air conditioning that made for uncomfortable sleeping. Opening the windows did allow for a cross breeze that did help. The bathroom was fine except for the shower. The drain was clogged, the shower wand was broken and the rain head would only drizzle water. They supply some liquid shower gel/shampoo combo and some hand soap. The room included a small fridge with purchasable water, juice and beer. They include free coffee and tea with a small kettle to boil water. Our stay included breakfast that was scrambled eggs, sausage (hot dog slices), cereal, croissants, yogurt, coffee, juices, teas and other items like that. If I make it back to Florence which is so beautiful I would look for a new hotel.
