We booked on for 1 night. A very positive experience. A friendly, warm welcome in reception. Our room was spacious, meticulously clean, with the added bonus of a microwave and ample cutlery and crockery. Situated easy walking distance to town and right beside the Murrumbidgee River, The Sturt Motel is a lovely place to stay.
Highly recommend. Walking distance to all local pubs and shops. Walking distance to river-bend walks and suspension bridge. Clean and tidy motel. Very clean with a pool. All amenities including, fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. Great value for money and helpful reception staff with good attitude. Highly recommend.
Our family broke down in Balranald in January this year and Shiloh at the Sturt Motel made our experience of breaking down the absolute best! She was able to accomodate all 6 of us in one place, helped us out with where things were (like the NRMA and IGA) and even shared a locally grown watermelon with all her guests. Not only that...when we had to tow the car to Swan Hill, her husband took time out of his day to drive the rest of the family there. Total lifesavers the both of them. When we come back to Balranald, this is where we will stay.
