This is the best ever apartment I have stayed. With very reasonable price, I got to stay at this 2 bedroom apartment with very cosy and modern interior. Very very very highly recommended if you guys looking for place to stay at JB.
Suasana Lifestyle Suites by Keystone is the worst BnB ever had!!! The beginning of the matter is that I booked this BnB on the Agoda a month ago, and I was going to travel to Johor Bahru with my boyfriend. At that time, I did see the hygiene problems of this homestay in the comments, but they were all one or two years ago, so I felt that this year's should be better. Since we would stay in Singapore for two days, we arrived late around at 12am in the morning, but we checked with the BnB in advance whether we could check in at this time, and the accommodation said yes. When we arrived at the BnB lobby, the BnB directly put our elevator key in the mailbox on the first floor for us to pick up by ourselves, but as soon as we entered the elevator, we found something wrong. The elevator does not require a key, and you can go upstairs directly, so what is the meaning of this elevator key? This made us start to think about the safety issues of this apartment. After that we entered the room, according to the auto lock code given by the BnB, as soon as we put the luggage in the room, we found that the room did not match the room I booked at the beginning. The picture was different from the real thing, since we were very tired, so we didn’t think too much and started to prepare for rest. When my boyfriend went to check the washing machine to wash clothes, he found a big lizard inside! Still moving. Then we started to check the facilities in the room and found that the toilet seat in the bathroom was with long hair, the bed was covered with dust, and there were many small ants crawling on the table in the living room. This made it impossible for us to stay in this room at all, so we started to check the surrounding hotels and prepared to stay in other places. At that time, we put the luggage in the room first and went out to find a hotel. When we found the hotel and were ready to go back to pick up the luggage, the auto lock of the door could not be opened. After trying many times, it still could not be opened, so we started to call the BnB number. We called continuously from 1am to 3am, but no one answered. Out of choice we have to call the Agoda customer service. The customer service also said that they could only try to call, and send email to inform the BnB. We immediately expressed our demands. First, this BnB need to be compensated the money we to book a new hotel, second the booking fee must be refunded. The Agoda platform said that they would follow up and let us know. Since we were unfamiliar with the place, we had no choice but to go to the hotel to rest and then think of a solution. The next morning, I checked my phone and found a refund email from Agoda in my mailbox. They refunded the room fee to us, but did not tell us when I could pick up my luggage. I could not stand it anymore, so I called the BnB again and finally got through. I told them to return my luggage to me in half an hour, and they said they would arrange for someone to come. When we arrived, we found that the luggage was no longer in the room, and was taken to the lobby downstairs by their staff. We told this staff everything that happened the night before, and said that we will post a report. Their staff immediately told us to not to post report and that they would compensate us. I refused and said that I would definitely post. Their staff said that they would let the boss know and reply to me in 30 minutes, but I never received any reply, and Agoda customer service did not have any other follow-up mentioning compensation for our financial losses. We must avoid this kind of BnB to prevent more travelers from being deceived! And never book your travel plans on Agoda!
I'm very upset about the homestay that I had for few days over here. The cleanliness of homestay is dirty, doorknob from room and toilet going to break anytime, so dusty and the sofa bed I have rashes and itchiness everywhere !
