Sudamala Resort Sanur

My daughter and I enjoyed an exceptional week staying at the delightful Sudamala. Exceptional staff, beautiful rooms, wonderful pool and great location. It was so nice to walk out and feel like we were in a little village rather than straight into tourist central. Yet only a short stroll away and you’re in amongst the action of the beachfront of Sanur. A perfect balance. The staff were particularly kind to leave a gorgeous Happy Birthday offering in our room for my daughter. Such a lovely surprise and so kind of them. We will definitely be back!

At first we were sceptical due to not being at beach but it is only 5 min walking distance. Remember check high tide time Splendid breakfast and dinner at the close by restaurant. The new free shuttle bus for the beach stop i front of the hotel. Fantastic service and massage near the pool.

Stayed 5 nights at Sudamala Sanur, and it was very good. The staff were excellent, particularly Bagus, at breakfast, and Wida, at reception. The resort is set in lovely gardens, and some nice local touches. The room was really nice, we had a pool access room which had a little garden. The room was spacious and plenty of room for cases etc. the bathroom is quirky, outside shower, but you can drop a blind for privacy. The only negative, which has been noted by other guests, are the towels, which are grey, not a nice white which is what we are used too. The pool is a good size, but does get some debris from the trees, but nothing you can’t deal with. Location was fine for us, no it’s not on the beach, but the beach is a 5-10 minute walk. The food at breakfast was delicious and nothing is too much trouble, if you want things cooked slightly different, no problem. Overall a very good hotel with excellent staff.
