Sudamala Resort Senggigi Lombok

Booked this place as a contigency and used it when ealier hotel plans in TeteBatu did not work out. Got the pool villa for 4 nights. It was a perfect place to chill after days of relentless driving and ferry rides from Java. Our room was luxurious with and outdoor tub, outdoor shower and private dive pool. Also have a verandah. On the pricier end but it was worth it. Discovered the next morning that there were a small number of room in the estate ie less than 30 in various permutations. I liked min which was quiet and private. The hotel offers direct access to the middle of Mangsit beach which has clean but vigorous waters and apparently a good spot to learn surfing. Lots of kids and families giving the waves a shot under tutelage from the surf vendors. Safe and convenient setting. The food was typical hotel fare and we also signed up for the firedance performance on a Saturday evening. Was a great show performed by 2 talented hotel staff, fireworks and all. IF you are inclined you could walk to the coves at the end of Mansit where the waves are more dynamic to the point of being thunderous. I like this place and reccomend it for those wanting some tranquililty and still have on-tap access to the fine beach without gearing up.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and helpful without being intrusive. They took care of our well-being and were always happy to provide us with tips and recommendations. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained and clean, with a stunning view of the sea directly from our location. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff were always available when we needed them. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. The combination of friendly staff, excellent facilities, and outstanding service makes it an ideal place to stay. 5/5 stars

Sudamala Resort, Senggigi is a beautiful hotel close to Senggigi harbour, convenient for a couple of nights stopover on the way to Gili Air. But it was so nice we wished we had longer to stay there. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Comfy bed, and probably the best pillows we have found in our many travels! Perfect for a good nights sleep. We had a great time with Chef Juandi for a delicious cooking class, great recipes for red, yellow and green curry, vegetable curry and sambal. Also delicious little balls made from dough of rice flour, sticky rice flour with a bit of palm sugar poked into the middle of them, then boiled. Samu In, and Indra also helped. Was very interesting and fun. The staff make this hotel wonderful, they are all friendly and very helpful, fun to chat with! Thankyou Anis, Putu and Laras for making Happy Hour at the bar, and dinner at the restaurant so enjoyable.☺️ Happy and kind to us. And Aswati too. And thankyou Norman and Abib for great room service, and thoughtful floral touches. The Mango Tree spa located at this hotel was wonderful, and have done a seperate review for the very professional massuses, Bari and Hus of the Mango Tree Spa. From welcoming staff, Dwi, at the reception desk at check in and until check out, this hotel was a great experience!
