Sudima Kaikoura

Great stay for family! We have a 10 month old with us but she love the absolutely. Our room with the mountain view is epic. Hotel location is nice, there is a cafe across the street. Staffs are very friendly. They welcome us with smile and answer our questions patiently. Definitely would go for a stay again. Perfect for family weekend getaway.

Welcoming reception staff. Clear communication & friendly yet professional interactions with every staff member we met. Great view to mountains & sea from our floor to ceiling windows. Very comfortable beds with crisp fresh linen. Although we were out most of the day our room wasn't serviced when we returned at 3pm. New towels were offered at 4pm. The dining & bar area was light & airy. The meals were very nice.

It's funny how the little things make such a difference to a holiday. We're self employed and getting away from our business is a rare treat, so we booked 3 nights here. I really enjoy a nice coffee, and when I went to make myself one, only sachets of cheap instant, and only uht milk, so I couldn't even compromise with tea. When I asked about it, I was told they only provide instant coffee. It's little things like no bath robes or toiletries, no bedside lights, and the menu in the restaurant is very ordinary. Everything else was fine and the room is lovely, but compromising on a few small things has been disappointing
