I just stayed here this past weekend and it was wonderful! My room was clean, charming, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a coffee bar and small fridge. The complementary breakfast was amazing! You were given choices on a menu, which was great. I ate dinner there two nights and it was delicious. I had steak that was cooking to perfection! I've been to more expensive restaurants in Boston that didn't get the steak medium rare as requested. It was nice after a day out to come back and have a great dinner. The inn is close to hiking, skiing, Lincoln, Littleton, and is in a beautiful location. I will definitely return.
My recent stay at the Sugar Hill Inn was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I travel frequently for work, and returning home to Sugar Hill to visit friends and family was made even more special by this incredible place. From the moment I checked into the cabin, everything felt warm, welcoming, and like home. Destiny went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast complete with fresh pastries, and while we dined, she tidied up the cottage and refreshed the linens and towels—her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and clearly well cared for. The staff were all kind, thoughtful, and genuinely warm, creating an atmosphere that made it hard to leave. If you’re considering staying here—don’t hesitate. Between the outstanding hospitality, the clean and comfortable accommodations, and the incredible food, Sugar Hill Inn is a gem. I can’t wait to return.
Sugar Hill Inn was a fine place to stay. The house is old and beautiful but less clean than I would have liked. There was even dust on the coffee maker in our room. The dinner and breakfast were good. Some items were delicious (the complimentary appetizer of braised duck was absolutely yummy) but most of the food was good, not great. Hope was our waitress the first night we go there and she should get accolades 5/5! Her service, friendliness, knowledge and recommendations were spot on. The first young woman who checked us in seemed like she had never worked in any service job ever and that she did not know anything at all about Sugar Hill Inn. The stay would have been more enjoyable if the coffee machine were well stocked with good coffee, milk and sugar. Instead, we were left to fend for ourselves when the milk (actually nondairy creamer--half and half would have been nice!) ran out and we had to search through the room to find more. I wouldn't send anyone away from here but next time I'm in the area, I'm going to stay right in Littleton--one of the cutest towns ever and many nice places to stay and delicious food to eat!
