Suitree Experience Hotel

We stayed at Suitree back in December '24 for our honeymoon, and it was truly a unique experience. There are only a few rooms on the property, so it is quiet, and when you are at your treehouse, it can feel like you're the only people there. Our room (the Quebracho suite) was fantastic, and it was nice to have the private hot tub on the deck below the room. Overall, the level of service was near the best I have ever experienced. During out visit there were a few members of the staff that were very new and were still learning the ropes, but the more senior staff at Suitree was exceptional. Everyone was very attentive, caring, and helpful without ever feeling overbearing. Every meal we had was excellent, and the chefs truly went above and beyond on our last night when we got the chefs choice multi course meal (which ended up being 2-3 courses more than we were told it would be, I lost count). Also, I want to give a special shout out to Johnny! Johnny was the main bartender/sommelier/waiter, and was one of the highlights of the whole trip. He never led us wrong with any suggestions, and was a wealth of knowledge for local food and drinks. Suitree as a whole was exceptional, but Johnny singlehandedly elevated the entire experience.

Family just stayed here with 2 boys (8 and 5). The experience was great. Staff was excellent, boys had a great time, pools were great, close drives to a couple of great beaches + zip lining. Would recommend renting a car if you are staying here. Rooms were excellent, very safe - felt comfortable letting young kids walk back to the room after dinner. Overall, just overall a very unique experience. And really cant say enough good things about the staff. Just the friendliest/more welcoming staff at any hotel/resort we had stayed at.

The staff were excellent! Paulo, MariFe, Luis, and Thomas were so hospitable! I highly recommend the cooking class with Thomas and view deck for sunset cocktails! The restaurant menu is phenomal! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite and cocktail! There are frogs, lizzards, butterflies and so many other fascinating jungle creatures to see on the property! The location is very remote. Either rent your own AWD vehicle with high enough clearance or secure rides through the hotel in their SUV. They are under construction for a new event deck and building. If you are looking for peace and tranquilty make sure to ask about their construction schedule before booking. We stayed in the Pochote Suite and had our own pool so the noise was not an issue. But for those that need to use the shared pools you will be in the thick of the construction and noise. The Pochote Suite was comfortable for a couple. It might be tight for sleeping 4 because there is no communal place to seat 4 people that is not a bed. We had issues with the water heater the entire time and with many calls to maintenance we were never able to successfully take a hot shower all 4 nights we were there. Also, if you book the Pochote Suite and want privacy and no interruptions at your pool during the day - make sure you express that in detail to the front desk team so they can communicate that with all the maintenance staff to be contacted before coming onsight to your private area. Even with all the maintenance and privacy issues - the staff were super attentative and were very responsive in resolving everything as promptly as possible. I would definitely stay here again after the renovations are done.
