My wife and I loved our stay here. The AC was cold and the showers were hot. Our room had a separate little kitchen and fridge. There’s a lot of stairs but it was a good workout. And it also meant that it was really quiet in our room, away from all the noise of the city. Everything is in walking distance from here. The family is so sweet they were singing karaoke and just so welcoming. 100% would stay here again.
Oh, I would give it more stars, it’s an oasis of peace in an authentic Balinese neighborhood, surrounded by a stupendous garden of bananas, bamboo, and other tropical plants. The stuff and the owner were so kindly and smiling. I adore this state of being. Cleanliness at the peak, which is a miracle in Bali. We had the upper floor room with a cute terrace from where we could watch the sun or the moon rising. If I come to Bali again I will look to book again that room.. Fantastic.
It was a very nice stay! The owner and his family were very friendly and helped us with everything that we needed. Our breakfast was also very good (pancakes with a little fruit salad). The street where Sulendra is located were very quiet but had also a lot of good restaurants and massage studios. The monkey forest, the sweet little markets or the busier area of Ubud were only a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Big recommendation!:)
