OMG… this property was mislead in every way possible. We booked through booking.com for a 6 night stay and what a nightmare it was. We arrived at 9:45 pm in the evening. We were dropped outside the first building which we were supposed to be staying in originally but after arriving we were taken to a completely different building about three minutes walk and given a room which did not match the pictures in the description at the time booking. The bedding was dirty and room smelt of gas we bought this it the attention of the manager who completely ignored us and did not sort the issue. There was no hot water for two days. We had to ring the manager to sort this out which he did the facilities mainly of them were not available as described in the description at the time of booking it smelt horrible, old and dated the springs were sticking out of the mattresses. Room was never cleaning throughout our stay. The balcony had no view just surrounded by tall walls all around There was no street view. I had young kids with me and was unable to book anywhere else Because it was expensive and we did not have that sort of money with us, but we did not expect this property to be in the state given for the money we paid which still wasn’t cheap. We paid over £400 for six nights day. I warn anyone who is thinking of staying here and believing me it’s absolutely disgusting and not fit for animals.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Misleading Listing and Poor Service We booked a 3-night stay at Sultanahmet Suites in Istanbul, expecting a 4-star experience, but the reality was far from acceptable. The hotel has grossly misrepresented itself online, especially on Google, using outdated and misleading images that show a modern building and attractive terrace views. In truth, the property is old, poorly maintained, and not suitable for a comfortable stay, particularly for families. From the very first night, basic amenities failed. The water heater didn’t work, and the AC was blowing hot air. We had to call the manager, Huseyin Emiroglu, at midnight, which was frustrating but necessary. Shockingly, the same issues repeated every single day, leaving us unable to sleep properly or even take a proper shower during our entire stay. To make things worse, the manager was rude and dismissive, blaming us for calling too often instead of addressing the root problems. The staff were unprofessional and visibly irritated whenever we sought help, making our experience stressful and unpleasant. Additionally, the rooms were dirty, smelly, and poorly cleaned, which only added to the discomfort. Even worse, the main door lock was broken, compromising the safety of our family throughout the stay.

If I could give less then 1 star I would! I’ll try to be short cause I’m ot a big fan of leaving reviews usually,but this is a must! Basically we arrived ,saw the room and immediately left for a hotel cause it was an absolute rat hole.Disgusting smell( felt like windows weren’t open for years) very very dirty room and bathroom and instead of taking accountability and apologize that the pictures on booking.com are misleading ,the receptionist had the nerves to tell me I am obsessed with cleaning.The reception is also a 15 min walk from the actual rooms so if you need to talk to them or need anything is a half an hour walk back and fourth.If you want to have a pleasant holiday in Istanbul you better consider to spend a 20/30 euros more a day and go to something decent.
