This was my second time staying at Sumengen Hotel, and it certainly won’t be the last! The staff are simply amazing! incredibly helpful, warm, and always ready to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The location is unbeatable, with major sights just a short walk away, yet the hotel still feels peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. One of my favorite touches is the delicious tea in the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul. It’s a gem!
We loved our time at Sumengen! The staff was wonderful, especially John and Fakir. Very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choices. And the location was perfect for us. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I highly recommend this small, well-run hotel.
We spent 2 days there, the location is perfect, 5 minutes from the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. I saw some signs of wear of here and there, so I see a chance to get a room not in that great shape (I read some negative reviews here) but we have no reason to complain. The breakfast is also OK.
