Sunchase Iv Resort

The rooms were like any other hotel room, except the space. The space was great and the flooring was perfect for the beach island. They have half tiles and half carpet, so when you are coming back from the beach with wet clothes your not getting the carpet wet. They have a great amount of bathroom space and counter space. A/C worked great! And even had a ceiling fan. Now I do have to mention that some of the cabinets were sort of misaligned and falling off. Which isn't a big deal. I also have to say the room is sort of an interesting color combination, but still pretty good. You have a table, computer chair, coffee maker, fridge, TV, comfortable bed, and small shampoo and conditioner of course. The building itself seemed to be a really fancy mall until it was hit with a hurricane and bought out from Suites at Sunchase. The place is still definitely looking like it needs some renovation and some vendors in the hotel. But otherwise this hotel is pretty decent, given it was a fixer upper. It has alot of potential and hope to see it get fancy. Other thing I want to point out is that there are people from out of country and some are careless of how they park. Please be mindful of how you park and how others park.

I DO NOT recommend sun chase hotel. I rented 2 suites from 6/28 to 6/30 and there was no hot water in the shower of one room. I requested they fix it or move us. They declined to move us and didn’t go check it out until the night before we left. The maintenance man didn’t knock before walking into our room and made my husband get out of the shower because he didn’t want to wait for him to finish showering to leave for the day. My husband had to walk out in a towel so the man could switch the shower head. It didn’t fix the problem. Next morning at check out I spoke to the manager and she didn’t even care to look up from the monitor or express any care about the man walking into the room. What if I was changing ? I had to send the kids to shower in the other room cause there’s no way I was letting them shower with cold water. The other room had a leak in the window and the halls are extremely hot cause the ac isn’t on in the hallways corridors. The pool water was so dirty that my kids didn’t want to swim in it after the first time. And good luck finding parking.

Do Not Waste Your Money I recently stayed at this hotel, and I regret every penny spent. The property is severely outdated and shockingly dirty. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place is not maintained properly. The building looks unsafe, especially the garage area, where the pillars are visibly cracking—a serious safety concern. The room was filthy. The bed sheets were clearly used, which is unacceptable by any standard. Housekeeping does not service rooms in the mornings, and you only get fresh towels when you first check in—after that, you're out of luck. When I asked, housekeeping said management doesn’t allow them to provide replacements. The lobby couches and picture frames were stained and dirty, and to top it off, the hot tub was cold—not just lukewarm, but completely unheated. There’s a bar advertised on the 4th floor, but it has clearly been closed for years, even though it’s still listed as a feature on the website. Speaking of the website—it’s completely misleading. Nothing there reflects the current state of the hotel. If I had read honest reviews before booking, I would have stayed far away. I strongly advise others to do their research and avoid this place at all costs. This was not just a disappointing stay—my star review is negative -⭐️
