Very charming hotel in London! I enjoyed my 3 days 2 nights stay here in the end of July and had no complaints! I had a single room and was very pleased with it! It had a beautiful view of the river on the terrace!
The bed was comfortable and the room quiet and clean for a decent night's sleep after 40-plus hours in transit. Although the water was only lukewarm last night and cold this morning so I couldn't shower this morning and I only had two sachets of coffee so I could only have one coffee in my room. All staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
Stayed here recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The woman on reception was rude and provided poor customer service, which was a bad start to the visit. The room was generally clean, but clearly in need of some care, new paint and carpet would make a big difference, and the mattress was dipped on one side, making it uncomfortable. The bathroom was a particular let down. It showed clear signs of neglect, with yellow stains on the bathtub and an extractor fan that was thick with dust—clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The basin tap was also loose and needs fixing to the sink properly. Overall, it didn’t feel well maintained and wasn’t worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend unless some serious refurbishments are made.
