Junior Suite is a big room with a big double bed and double sofa bed. Check in staff friendly but did not give out any information about resort. Breakfast good and plentiful. Had gluten free bread rolls for my daughter. Pool is a 2 min walk from main building. Kids loved the pool.
First the location is ok, mainly farmland and 20 to 35 minutes to the coastline in north or south directions. The hotel complex is nice it's large with a main hotel and around 75 holiday houses. We stayed in the main hotel next to the reception and it's a nice hotel but a little outdated, the rooms are nice we soft beds and good sheets but the walls are thin, lucky we are on the bottom or people would complain with our small ones running around. The shower is outdated and the floor is very fast soaked, the fan doesn't work for the toilet so the smell is a little overwhelming. The soap dispenser and mirror is hanging off the wall slightly but it is what it is. The breakfast was included with our price and it's ok, it's a range of hot and cold food with a selection of breads. I wouldn't pay the extra if not included. The evening buffet is a joke, 45 euros per person's is wild. They wanted half price for kids, our children are 8 months and 2. And they still wanted half the money each. Just be aware of this, it seems the meal prices change in season. The swimming pool and play park are really good but if it's main season it's going to be rammed as it's not the biggest, the food is actually fantastic there. XXL burger and chips for 15 euros is really good. Drinks are 4.90 for a large so that's normal everywhere. And it's branded drinks. The pool could use some TLC, but it's what it is, you get towels and bath robes to use for no extra charge. Bring a euro for the lockers. The staff are not really interested and somewhat rude. But I'd understand having to put up with everyone all day as my job. Parking is good but costs 8 euros a night so it's a bit of a scam, it's easier just to hide it in the price I'd say. As the next available parking is in town around 10 minutes drive so I don't really understand the concept of trying to make more money and making you feel robbed. I'd only stay here if the area of Binz didn't have something cheaper, if you just need cheap rooms with breakfast it's the perfect place. If you have a bit of cash then just stay directly in Binz it's worth it. I swapped it from a 3 to a 2 star, we sat now at the same table for breakfast over our stay and the floor still had the pink egg shells on the floor from our first morning 🌄 We try and beat the rush with two children so early breakfast and they can't keep up, no eggs the food looks like it's been out all night, grey meat, bacon like a lump, just so disappointed. I just don't see where these 5 star reviews are coming from? Are they paid? I wouldn't return personally, it's a good hotel for needing a bed to sleep. That's about it.
Rooms are extremely dirty and there's a lot of broken things in them, employees are rude and moody. I'm assuming it's their 'manager' that speaks to the receptionists like they're stupid, horrible to see and hear as a guest. the hotel is very far from basically everything.
