Had an evening meal in the bistro. First time visitor to Whyalla, here for medical treatment. Lovely nurse at the hospital recommended coming here for dinner & it did not disappoint. Great menu, good prices, lovely attentive staff (especially Sal) and the quality of food was excellent. Comes complete with salad & veggie bars - highly recommend dining here. No wonder it was almost full and only Monday night. Well done Sundowner - 5 stars from us
Went to a dinner sitting and ordered the chicken schnitzel Hawaiian topping with no nap sauce. They first came out with no pineapple after fixing it they had added the nap sauce as well not looking at my original order. Additionally it was sweating in the restaurant and for $30 was on the expensive side Food if was nice if my order would have been correct
Went for dinner on the mothers day 11.5.25 for a 6.15pm We got there ordered 3 meals an drinks At 7.30pm had to ask where our meals were as people walked in after us an got food .. We then got our meal mixed grill which was meant to be medium rare .. which was like a rubber boot My chicken schnitzel with garlic topping but my garlic topping tasted so sweet it was inedible and the roast pork was like rubber couldn't cut it with a knife So disappointed.. the girl on the floor tried to rectify it with $5 refund new chicken schnitzel with normal gravy an a free soft drink Then asked to speak to Steve the manager as I seen him walk through then when asked to speak to him he disappeared very disappointed Personally I would of been happy for a refund .. I do not recommend this place any more
