SunGarden Golf & SPA Resort

Me and my wife went there for a couple of hours of relaxation in the spa. Although it was opened about 9 years ago, it still is impressive and not deteriorated. Also the new outdoor swimming pool was grea during the evening where outside temp was about 4-5 degrees and water temp 34-35. The sauna routine they have in place it’s also very very nice! We did not sleep as we live 30 min from the location

This resort is a full 5 stars when it comes to the spa, the views and the rooms especially those in the modern building. But when it comes to food I feel it lacks a lot compared to other resorts. Only one restaurant available for dinner, with little variety and a small terrace outside. If you do not catch a table outside, good luck inside as the waiters are only focused to serve those out on the terrace and ignored us a full 30 minutes inside. Could be because they are understaffed but still… Ps. If you love exotic desserts, try the panna cota. It is heaven made.

The property is beautiful and peaceful, and we really enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. Unfortunately, it’s clear that the management isn’t maintaining the place as well as it could be—some areas looked quite worn. The shower pressure was very low, and the water never got quite warm enough. There was no door on the shower, so water would flood the entire bathroom and even reach the bedroom carpet. It’s surprising this hasn’t been addressed, especially since the door frame is starting to rot from the moisture. The staff at the spa were also not very welcoming and seemed bothered by simple requests like asking for a robe or a locker. Sadly, based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
