Sunis Kumköy Beach Resort Hotel & Spa – Side, Turkey We highly recommend this hotel Location: The resort is perfectly situated right on a long, wide, sandy Beach with plenty of comfortable loungers and sunshades. Everything is conveniently close – beachside restaurants and clean toilets make your beach day effortless. Food: The cuisine is outstanding – a feast of variety, flavor, and beautiful presentation. Throughout the day, several restaurants and bars offer healthy options alongside family favorites (like fries, pizza, and spaghetti). We especially appreciated the grilled fish, soups, abundant salads, fresh vegetables, and the authentic regional Turkish dishes – such a treat! Service & Amenities: The staff is very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Rooms are spotlessly clean. A complimentary minibar, daily entertainment for kids, and evening shows add to the experience. The detox beverages and smoothies (like green blends, strawberry-beetroot, etc.) were a refreshing and healthy bonus! A small note for improvement: One downside was smoking in communal areas like poolsides and restaurant terraces during meals. It would greatly improve the atmosphere to clearly designate smoking areas and enforce smoke-free zones, especially during dining. Even the best sunset dinner can be spoiled by a face full of cigarette smoke – and it’s such an easy fix! Would we return? Absolutely. A fabulous beach holiday combining relaxation, quality, and hospitality at its best.

All excellent! A cosy hotel boasting a long sandy strand. You can enjoy delicious food and great service 24/7. I recommend it for families with children as well as singles.

Hotel Sunis was the worst decision I made. If someone is only looking for good food and swimming in the pool, it's great. However, if you're expecting other attractions, it's a complete failure. The bar closes at midnight. There are no dance parties, maybe for 2 hours at most. If you like geriatrics, it's a great choice. They play bingo and sing karaoke. If you're expecting your kids to have fun here, forget it. Maybe in the evening before the shows, but during the day, nothing happens. Definitely not a place for everyone. I would categorize it as a hotel for older people who go to bed early, or perhaps for grandparents with their grandchildren. I wouldn't recommend it for families who want to dance in the evening. Not at this place. Look for other hotels.
