Sunny Dune Hotel

Very nice hotel. The main advantage is that is located in the suburban peaceful area. Hotel is very close to the beach, you have to only cross the road and make few steps through the Forrest on the coast. You can also go to the beautiful wooden alley through the cliffs with the beautiful point of view. Rooms are comfortable, cosy and clean. You get basic things which you could need.

Restaurant was "out of material" like they said. I choosed this hotel because of restaurant. Big disappointment.

Complaint about rude behavior by staff at Pine Resort, Saulkrasti We stayed at the hotel on the third floor. After 11 PM, the main entrance is locked, and guests are given a code to enter, written on their room key card. Around midnight, I needed to go to my car parked nearby. After coming downstairs, I realized I had forgotten the card with the code. There was a man at the reception, and I politely asked him to tell me or write down the code. He rudely refused and said, “Go back to your room and get your card.” I explained that I am a person with a third-degree disability and that it's difficult for me to go back up to the third floor. He coldly replied that he is "also disabled" and doesn’t care. I consider such behavior absolutely unacceptable. In a hotel of this level, staff should show at least some respect and basic humanity. He eventually opened the door for me, but only when I was already returning from my car. My overall impression of the hotel was ruined. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and addresses it with the staff. Courtesy and minimum empathy should not be optional — they are part of professional service.
