First, I would like to address the negative reviews. The lady at the front desk that has seen a few more years on earth than the others is a little "dry" and to the point, but i would not go as far as calling her rude. She will answer any questions you have in a very direct manner (which I, unlike some others, appreciate). She is full of information about the resort and the area, so this property very much benefits from having her as a team member. The issue with the air conditioning is more of an issue with whether or not you were "raised in a barn" as my grandparents always put it. If you keep the doors closed, the a/c absolutely does keep the room cool. It will even freeze you out at night if you have it turned down too low! The room I'm in must be updated because I have no issues with the layout ... except not having type c plugs, but there are usb-a plugs everywhere! Just bring an adapter, and you are set. The pool is nice, and the property has great views of the mountains (I suggest staying on the upper level to get the full panorama). Everything was operational during our stay. We were even able to get a later checkout! (Though, I'm sure it was only because our checkout day was Monday, and they weren't as busy due to no holidays or events. I would not expect that to be a standard accommodation.) Within a few miles of Dollywood and The Island. Will stay again!

This is a very nice resort located just a few minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. It was nice having a full kitchen and coffee maker. Brewing fresh coffee every morning and then sitting on the balcony staring at the Smoky Mountains is a great way to start the day. There is a grocery store only five minutes away, so you can get everything to utilize the full kitchen. The outdoor pools were enjoy by our kids, and we were fortunate to be there for the 4th of July fireworks.

Beautiful views from the balcony, but that didn't make up for the outdated room and amenities. Our dishwasher was missing a rack and not functional, with no space for drying dishes washed by hand. The refrigerator had an incorrect size shelf that we had to remove. Pullout sofa bed was unbearable to sleep on. The outdoor pool area was nicely landscaped, but the garbage smell coming from the landfill next to the resort was terrible and drove us away from spending time outside.
