Honestly had a wonderful time at this resort. The room was big and clean, the majority of the staff was lovely and our Sapphire dinner experience was absolutely beautiful! Our spa visit left me the most relaxed I have ever been!! The gym had a surprising variety of equipment which was awesome and pretty decently maintained and the on site clinic was helpful when we needed their services and Evelyn was very kind. Special thank you to Jordanny, Francesca, Johny, Carolina, Luis and Angel for taking especially good care of us! And my blond braided dancing king for being so fabulous! Would definitely come back!

Overall, a very mid.. basic experience. First and foremost, the rooms are dirty. We arrived, immediately called housekeeping to come and clean what they thought was an already clean room. The rooms are not kept, a whole bunch of people kept on talking about how the rooms are renovated, and so beautiful, blah blah blah… I have yet to see those. The cabinets in the room are falling off, the walls just dirty or smeared with stuff, and they don’t clean that or try to cover it up. The little couch in the room had stains all over it and was basically shredded, they have the audacity to leave that in the room instead of just throwing it away. The whole ordeal with having to book your spot at the restaurant on the resort is ridiculous. Because you wake up at 7 AM as per their recommendation to book your spot, and all the spots are already taken. That’s because it’s a scam, they only leave three or four spots open per restaurant because they want you to be forced to eat at their disgusting buffet. Cause if you walk by the restaurants, they’re actually empty, but when you go on the app that they told you to download in order to secure a spot each day, it literally says that they’re all full. We found out their little game a few days in. Not that the restaurants on the resort are so great anyways except for chopsticks, which is the Teppanyaki place. That would be the only good food really and the Dominican buffet that they have was pretty good. But everywhere else, is horrible. The buffet, which is basically open all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is probably the most bland, boring, and basic food your ever taste in your life. We lived off cheese and bread for almost 7 days because we don’t know nearby places to order from, and the restaurants on the resort are mostly “booked” . I’m not really sure how everybody got to the conclusion that this is such a great resource, maybe standards are different, because we got recommendations not only from people, but also from the travel website which we booked the resort through. Definitely never again. Three days in, we went to visit another resort nearby called Dreams Flora which is their sister hotel and it’s 1000% different. I have a review on that too . And way better. So we will definitely be staying our entire stay there next time. The resort itself looks nice from the outside, it’s on a nice white sand beach, there’s lots of pools, it’s very kid friendly, there are lots of bars and seating area, there’s lots of space to sit on the beach. But the little extra things that really make us stay, memorable are extremely lacking

Welcome to the DR! Beautiful island scene. Some things they don't tell you. The pools are open to the public, so you are sharing the facilities not only with other guests, but also locals - absolutely packed. It would be described best as a most-inclusive. Bars are very basic, bartenders do not have the knowledge/ability to make common cocktails. No drink list to see what is available. No cocktails in the buffet. The safe in our room had the code given to us by a maintenance gentleman that came to our room to set it. That doesn't feel safe. No instructions on setting the code ourselves. Making dinner reservations is impossible (and required) after reading that no reservations were needed. A bit misleading. They are trying to up-sell us at every turn. Got stuck in the elevator. The door opened and we were between floors. Rather panic inducing. So far, not a very relaxing stay. We will be here 4 more days, and we will make the most of it.
