Sunset Bungalows Resort

I was kind of anxious about coming to stay here, having read recent unfavourable reviews, and not even being sure the place would be open when I got there. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience. The staff were all very nice, friendly and super responsive. They were able to arrange a driver for me from and to the airport at an affordable price. My room had AC, a nice cozy bed, hot water and a beautiful deck with view on the lagoon. Some amenities were indeed missing or damaged by last year’s earthquake, but the staff were super transparent about it from the start, and the inconvenience was reflected in the great price I paid for the room. Sure, if you’re looking for a grand, luxurious, all-inclusive type accommodation, then maybe it’s best to book somewhere else. However, if you just want a cozy place to stay for a few nights, then this is a perfect choice which I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They were also super accommodating; I needed to store my luggage for a couple of days and then leave at 5am, and they ensured that someone was there to pick me up and take me to the airport on time. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise and quite tasty. My room was spacious and had an amazing view, which made my stay even better. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Staff here is wonderfull and very helpfull. They will go extra mile to help you. In the room there was AC and the room was quite clean. The balcony was spacious but little bit sketchy. They gave us the honeymoon suite without extra charge what was really nice. But if you are actually on a honeymoon you might want to consider some other place maybe even another country. Vanuatu is not for beginners.
