Whether you're a total beginner (like me) or an experienced diver, you couldn't possibly choose a better place to go diving. Ronny, Charo and their dive guides are wonderful to work with and make the whole experience completely seamless. Alad boasts crystal clear waters and an abundance of marine life. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and snorkeling is available as well if you don't want to dive. 12/10 would recommend!
Well run diving resort specializing in macro and super macro photography. Very comfortable rooms, excellent food and the best hosts (Ronny and Charo) I have experienced in a long time. The dive guides were excellent at spotting critters the size of a grain of rice and then helping you to photograph it. It takes a 9 hour ferry ride from Batangas to get here but you are rewarded with very few other divers nearby.
Sunset Cove Beach & Dive Resort is vast and spacious. Even the rooms are huge. The food served by their chef is scrumptious. Owners Ronny, Charo and their son Noa are very friendly, warm and welcoming. Always attended to our needs. Diving is top notch. No crowd. Marco is amazing and unique. Their dive guides are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Definitely 2 thumbs up !
