Sunset Del Mar Resort

The property is lovely, the staff great. Roberto is a gem. He makes you feel welcome and cared for. The restaurant is great. Good food, good service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend or to return myself.

I purchased a day pass here to use the pool and bar. The service was incredible and the staff is so incredibly nice. The pool is nice and calm and we saw several macaws fly over head.

The location is what makes this resort amazing. The room itself was also very nice and the bed was super comfortable. The rooms are compact but big enough for a few day stay. The staff was decent we had to wait a while for the front desk to check us in and many times we went to the office no one was there. The landscaper was also weed-waking in the middle of the morning right after breakfast spraying grass all over the walkways and out stuff out in the patio to dry. The beach that is right out your door is amazing as well as secluded and the sand is soft. We saw a ton of wildlife here from macaws to lizards.
