This place has a great pool and deck. It has an awesome view to the beach. We stayed at the sister property, but we were able to come here as well to enjoy the great amenities since we had the all-inclusive package. The service at the pool area was top notch, and our server was very attentive to our needs. We also came for karaoke night, which was great, and enjoyed dinner at one of the restaurants at the hotel.
Best experience I've ever had at a hotel. We did become members after speaking to other guests with positive reviews after being members for years. The staff at their resorts were absolutely the best. From the moment we arrived at this hotel Yosephat made sure we had all the information and everything we needed right away and for the duration of our stay. The butlers are readily available for the members via WhatsApp with amazing response times. We left a certificate for an excursion in the room by accident. Within 5 minutes we had a copy sent to our phone from Yosephat. The bartenders and waiters were very friendly and never made us wait. This place is perfect for a couple or family. We are excited to be back in the near future.
For a place selling timeshares I'm a bit shocked at the treatment at this place, mind you everything that was negative was told to the concierge multiple times but nothing was done for us while we were there. 1st off we booked and noted this was for our anniversary, told multiple staff multiple times and not even the room was set up special for us on our day. The bathrooms have no ventilation so smells would linger for awhile if not for opening the balcony windows. 2nd The only exceptional meals were at the a la carte Caribbean themed restaurant at another of their locations. They have a great chef their but don't rotate them to the other locations to get more experience with better cuisine. Then they had the nerve to get us on this presentation that was about an hour away at TresRios (a beautiful resort full of timeshares that was frankly way over priced for the fact that they only have locations in Mexico to use as members), and strand us there because their logistics team was crap at time management, and still nothing was done when all this was told to the staff. I would have even liked if they transferred us to the better location for our anniversary that would have made more sense then keeping us where we were and maybe even enticed someone to reconsider the option of purchasing. (Not us but it would show good faith that the company holds their customers in the highest regard.) The best service on this trip was from not only the a la carte Caribbean restaurant but at a completely different property Puerto Madera Restaurant about 15mins away. I was told maybe they can send a piece of cake up to the room for our anniversary and decorate it, which none of those were done. I'm only giving 3 stars because the wait staff and bartenders deserve way more, they are understaffed and overwhelmed with dinner service and no one is complaining about these things which would have made a world of difference as you can end up waiting 90mins sometimes for dinner service. They also had the nerve to ask for referrals for friends and family to stay with them at a discount, I told my people do what you want but I wouldn't go back. All in all I will not be returning to any of their locations at all. And if management reads this the only thing that can make up for this stay would be a refund.
