Sunshine View Hotel and Restaurant

Great location right by the sea! The rooms are large, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent value for the price, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious meals. A pleasant stay overall.

Sunshine View Hotel was a charming and peaceful stay with stunning views and genuinely warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the location made it easy to explore the beauty of Belize. The room was comfortable and well-kept overall, but unfortunately, we did spot a couple of cockroaches during our stay, which took away from the experience a bit. That said, the positives far outweighed this one issue. With just a little extra attention to pest control, this place would easily be a five-star gem. Still, we’d happily come back again.

While Sunshine is a very cute restaurant to dine in at, some aspects of my experience there left me disappointed. Basically, I wanted to order the chicken chow mein, which I didn’t get because chinese food is unavailable after 9pm. Then, as a replacement I thought I’d order chicken cordon blue, which I was also told was not available some time later. While I did end up enjoying my plate of chicken fingers and the ceviche that was on the table, I just wish I had a better experience trying the food that I wanted initially. Anyway, the staff was great and very welcoming, and the ambience there made up for the mishaps that occured. Would definitely go back to give it a second chance!
