We had a wonderful stay at Lagoon beach stay on self catering

Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) Beautiful Views but Poor Maintenance & Beach Cleanliness Review: Lagoon Beach has an incredible location with breathtaking ocean views and soft sand, making it a potentially great beachfront getaway. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to serious maintenance and cleanliness issues. The self-catering apartment was outdated, with cracked and broken doors and cupboards, a noisy fridge with a faulty compressor that disrupted sleep, and cracked, leaking bathroom sinks with visible mould. There was no air conditioning, and while the smaller second room had a ceiling fan, it was dysfunctional most of the time. Daily complaints to reception went unresolved, highlighting poor service and lack of responsiveness. Beyond the apartment, practical inconveniences included a difficult parking entrance for larger vehicles, reception being far from the self-catering units, and breakfast coming at an additional cost instead of being included. As for Lagoon Beach itself, while the sand and views were picturesque, the area was horrifically littered, including debris in the water, making it difficult to find a hygienic spot to relax. Additionally, the beach had a strong odor of dog waste, as numerous dogs were walked without proper cleanup, further impacting the experience. Overall, while the beachfront setting is stunning, the apartment needs urgent maintenance, better cleaning standards, and improved guest service. Likewise, the beach requires stricter cleanliness enforcement to preserve its natural beauty.
