Superb Ocean & Bay View 1 Bed 1 Bath @ Hyde Beach Resort

First the good parts. I got a steal of a deal. Only 7 min walk from the beach. Grounds were very nice. However in my room there were a bunch of issues. The bathrooms didn't lock. The drain in the tub wouldn't stay up so in order to drain the tub you had to stick your hand under dirty water and hold the drain up for like five minutes. The door knobs to tge bedrooms kept on coming off. The dryer didn't work. When I went to tell the front desk they said you have to call the owner which I did took over a day to hear from the property manager who didn't do anything. Also when people complain about the elevator here I had no idea how bad it was. During high peek times it is normal to wait almost 30 min for an elevator. My advice take a low floor and get ready to walk.

Booked the room a week before the event. Price wasn’t bad for the size of the rooms and quality views. We are also very understanding about the cleaning fee because we also own vacation rentals and we charge for it as well. Unfortunately for us the room was not inspected, had pee splatters on the floor all around the toilet in the second bathroom. And had long hairs stuck all over the wall in the master shower.

My family and I recently stayed here about a week ago...first major issue was the Main pool was shutdown. Basically all the guests were confined to one tiny pool which was "cloudy" at best and not well maintained. We also had to change our room due to multiple issues with appliances. New room had issues with another appliance plus a pungent odor in the bathroom which would literally not go away. Customer service and treatment of guests is subpar at best. I would avoid this hotel to be honest, as there are much better options in the area.
