⸻ 5 Stars – Wonderful Stay at Hotel Point Loma! We had such a great experience at Hotel Point Loma! Sam, the manager, was incredibly accommodating, he went out of his way to check us in early, which was so appreciated after a long drive. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely updated. The designated parking made things super convenient, and the staff overall were very attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Plus, the location is excellent, close to everything we needed while still feeling quiet and relaxing. Definitely planning to stay here again next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

I stayed from a Tuesday to Friday. Pretty good experience overall. Sam at the front desk was the best: friendly, warm, helpful, and trustworthy. He's the kind of guy who makes the fatigue from long travel go away. Also Enjoyed talking to him and seeing him either doing work to maintain the place or helping other customers. As for the place, I found it very affordable if you want to enjoy San Diego: spend money somewhere else, like on good food and experiences! The rooms etc. were pretty basic, but you can see that they make effort to let it go beyond a budget stay by a notch! The only downside is that because the ceiling was so thin, if you had an inconsiderate "roommate" up there, it can be a nightmare. I stayed for 3 nights, and the last obe was no good: a family with 5 kids checked in right above me, and they had an early morning flight...almost no sleep. But that happens (luck) with budget hotels anyway. Will definitely stay at Sam's next time in San Diego!

Room was clean. Towels good. They need a better maintenance person because they painted over wall switches & plugs. No table or even a chair to sit on. And parking is laughable. And they have the nerve to charge for parking! Took a week to get my deposit back. But whatever… I wouldn’t stay here again.
