This is a charming hotel in a great hideaway spot. The staff were really nice. The room was very clean, and the view was inspiring.The fantastic pool, sauna, and bar are undoubtedly five-star experiences. If you are travelling on a German monthly train ticket, this would be a great place to take bikes. Cycle during the day and live it up at night.
Love this place! Very quiet when we were there in summer, I guess it's more busy in winter. Good place to stay and hike in the hills. Nice rooms and good beds, good food and a very good breakfast buffet. Lovely little swimming pool indoors, enough to do even with rainy days.
We had a lovely stay and found the hikes straight out the back door to the swimming lake and mountain most enjoyable. But certain small aspects of our stay made me feel cheep and somewhat used by the hotel. Read below for details.
