Sure Hotel by Best Western Wilhelmshaven City

The hotel is right in the center. Optimal connections. But: the parking solution is not optimal. The reception is well-organized, the staff is friendly, and there is digital check-in and check-out. But: the rooms are dated, the furniture is worn, the elevator rattles, and the bathroom is damaged, especially near the shower. The room for 1-2 people has no kitchenette, no bar, no refrigerator, no kettle, and no cutlery. Sleeping and staying, without the option of self-catering, all in one room. The breakfast offer for an additional charge was not accepted.

When I arrived, it seemed like a 4-star hotel, as they say. When I entered, everything seemed fantastic, but then... when I got to my room, I immediately noticed the switches were dirty with something sticky, there was no refrigerator, and a bottle of water sitting on the desk with dusty glasses... oh, there was also dust on the small cabinet in the entrance hall. Breathtaking view of the terrace, with seagulls waking me up every morning, squawking and doing their various business (you can imagine the smell). The hotel staff was non-existent... either you speak German or you make do... what's English??? The elevator was broken 3 days out of 5. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty... the air conditioning was off and there was no remote control in the room... I could go on, but I'll stop here...

Charging €204 for an economy room is a disgrace, especially since it stank of damp. The rooms were old and smelly. The staff were unfriendly and couldn't even print out an invoice, which was apparently a system error. SO NEVER AGAIN AT BW 🤮
