One of the best spots to sleep on the garden route. Nice rooms, good service. We ended up trying and buying all the local products: olives, olive oil, jam, also a wine they served us. Memorable place.
My partner and I went there in May 2024. It was such a spontaneous holiday and we wish we got to stay there longer. We arrived quite late (around 8pm) and we had supper at the restaurant. We only stayed 1 night but we really enjoyed our stay and the what the property had to offer. The next morning I was pleasantly surprised to see Shaun wiping down the guests cars due to the dew on all our cars from the weather. I appreciate the excellent service received from Shaun and Dalene.
The staff here are mostly very friendly. Our room was clean and spacious but dated and had no views whatsoever. The communal areas could do with a freshening up and the breakfast options are fairly limited. The dining room could do with greater care and attention - for example; table cloths clearly had stains on them and had not been ironed plus certain crockery had stains on them. Overall, there is nothing glaringly wrong with this place but it’s nothing special and should more accurately be ranked as a three star hotel.
