This place is a hidden gem! The service was excellent, from checkin to checkout it was hands on and welcoming. The service team left so many sweet personalized surprises. And the food and drinks were delicious. The rooms are beautiful, we had the garden view plunge pool room and it was so spacious it felt like a suite. The resort was not crowded which was great. Really nice to not have to rush around for a table or umbrella at the pool.

We had an incredible experience with our three kids here. We stayed for a week and the food, pools, service and Kids Club were incredible. The Morritos staff made our children’s time there unforgettable and they were begging to go back each day. We loved how helpful all of the staff were as we celebrated a birthday and they had plenty of fun surprises for us. The selection of Pan Dulce, juices, and coffees each mornings were delicious. We can’t wait to come back. Of all of the Auberge properties we’ve stayed at, this is #1.

We stayed for 5 nights in June. The property is definitely 5 stars and lives up to all expectations on that front. With the aim of helping others: - The beach is very pretty. You can easily get into the ocean for swimming or playing in the waves. There were longboard waves the entire time were were there. We rented boards from Wildmex since we wanted them for the duration of the stay. - The vibe at the hotel was casual which we liked. Restaurants are chill and not stuffy. - Everyone really liked the food at the hotel. - Spa was lovely. - Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. - Really liked how they delivered coffee to the room every morning rather than having one of those awful coffee pod things that always break and make a ton of noise. - Hotel prices for food and beverage are what you expect for this type of property. Only issue is that the cost of extras, like surfboard rental or transport to the town, is really high.
