Very beautiful hotel, foods at breakfast are delicious, the rooms are comfortable, friendly staff and its very clean
The hotel is nice, with big clean rooms and kind staff. Even though I don't know Turkish, they were very accommodating. The area is safe for walking. The only downside was the thin floors; I could hear the people above me moving around, which was a bit bothersome as I'm a light sleeper.
Pros: -The room was fairly clean -The lady who cleans the room was very helpful and friendly (unlike both receptionists) -Location is good in terms of getting to the main places of interest, there's a metro station and a train station nearby, also there are restaurants and supermarkets around. However, on the other hand, the location looks kind of weird, it looks unkempt and dusty; sometimes some shady people are seen on the streets. Cons and the reason why I am giving 2 out of 5: 1. When I first arrived, I told the receptionist that I don't care about the view, I just want a quiet room, on the quietest side possible. She told me that yes, the room she's going to give me a quiet ("It's quiet", she said). When I went up to the room I saw that it was right in front of the huge construction site! As I figured out closer to the nighttime it is 24/7 because they were still working and making huge noise. I had to go down and demand a new room, now really quiet. It was given to me and that another room was ok. I know that a construction site is not the fault of the hotel, but why on earth did they not provide the quiet room right away after I asked for it?! Most of all I hate when someone is trying to take me for a fool. This is just ridiculous. 2. The pool is very small and the water looks stagnant, also you need to have a swimming cap! It costs 150 lira if you buy it there. The "gym" is just a couple of very old treadmills and a bunch of dumbbells. 3. In the 2nd room, one of the electric sockets and the floor lamp did not work.
