Swan's Nest Hotel

Great access parking on site. The rooms are a great size and comfortable. It is definitely a great choice if you are staying in the area. I wouldn't go for the breakfast the i think its over priced and tbh wasn't well cooked. there are loads of places you can eat locally that are a lot better for the price. The rooms tho definitely good value. Parking is £10 for overnight.

I recently spent two nights at the Swan’s Nest. The room was clean and comfortable. Love the location, and I recommended the hotel to a friend. The staff was courteous, but not warmly welcoming. I felt like a number instead of a valued guest. For instance, I went to breakfast and was offered the breakfast bar which was good, but there was also a menu available and I was never approached by a server and offered that and didn’t realize it was an option until day two of my stay. There were a few other incidents like this and as someone who works in tourism, I found these omissions to be a short coming and an area in need of improvement.

Stayed here mid last month as a treat for me and my girlfriend. The hotel has a nice vibe about it. Clean and decently decorated. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and happily answered any questions we had. Parking was decent (hotel guests get discounted rates). The room was spacious and clean (apart from a brown stain on our quilt cover). The shower was an annoyance as any form of high pressure meant that the bracket holding the shower head would gradually move itself down. This meant that you would constantly have to readjust it as you showered. Smart TV didn't work as intended (light would flash on TV to show it received the command to do whatever you've pressed on the remote and then not do it). Breakfast was decent. Unsure on if I would stay here again because of the room. It wasn't an extraordinary stay but it wasn't poor either.
