I and my wife were there for a conference. They catered for 900 people although only a portion were able to stay at the Swiss-Bel itself. I was one of the lucky ones. Friendly service - nothing was too much trouble for them and always smiling. Room was great, swimming pool and gym great . Food very good considering it was catered for so many people, but a la carte could also be ordered and paid for separately which was better. The only drawback was that it is on the edge of town which didn't bother us because there for conference but an easy taxi ride would bring you into town quite easily.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. We're welcome with a grand lobby with an efficient check in. Going up to the third floor, we're greeted by a spacious hallway. Entering the room, I found a big and comfortable bed with a sizable bathroom. All amenities worked well, except the rather slow internet connection. This internet connection was definitely the area for improvement. The room had bad view, but there was nothing the hotel could do about it. Going down the next morning, I found a gym room with various equipments. I used treadmill for about 30 minutes. I then went to the restaurant for a breakfast. The dining area was spacious, but the food options was limited with a mediocre quality. The food quality was definitely also the area for improvement. We used the meeting room for the whole day. The room was big enough with well functioning amenities. The snacks for the break were good in quality and variety. The services throughout my stay was prompt. The location wasn't too far from the city center.
Staff are very nice but don’t speak any English, it’s the most frustrating experience to order room service or house keeping service. Simple dishes like soup and vegetables took more than an hour to come because they forgot about the order. Very incompetent staff. Also when they say they will call you back in 5min, it means they will never call you back. Management needs to invest in more professional training.
