Swiss Belhotel Kendari

Service was great, staff were friendly and hospitable, food was okay (the breakfast steamboat was something) access is fantastic: near the famed gift shop Mubarak. However… my allergies went crazy, sneezing non stop, which was most likely due to the unkept carpet flooring. Dust was everywhere, invisible but it’s there. It kinda ruined the experience. I implore you to shift from carpet flooring to the wooden, or any other hard flooring. Or, probably invest in good HEPA filter. The wifi though… it was the weakest of all Swissbel chains in Indonesia (I happened to stay in many of this hotel chain all over the country). So much so that I had to postpone numerous Zoom calls just cuz of the wifi! I could have used tethering from my phone but this was supposed to be a business hotel. Wifi is CRUCIAL.

The management should check the room and seriuosly consider to do major renovation.

Service is disappointing ... the staff was not welcoming and did not gjve me the rundown that usual hotel staff do such as what was the wifi password and facilities, breakfast timing, and they did not help me or suggested helping me with my luggage overall below expectations. Rooms were good but could have gone to other 2 or 3 star hotels with way better service
