Have recently stayed 3 nights We had a fabulous 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the lake. Bed was very comfortable ,awesome gas fireplace, laundry facilities just outside our door ,easy check in. Apartment was clean with Good security. They are on a main road but they have blackout blinds on the big windows and road noise is not noticeable. Its a good 10min walk to Queenstown to shops and restaurants, uphill on the way back. There is a bus stop nearby The apartments are not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as there are stairs to apartments, not many but when you have luggage it's awkward. We found this accomodation very satisfying for our needs.
We (3 people) stayed in one of the two bedroom Alpine suites. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had an amazing view towards the lake and the Remarkables, which was a joy to wake up to every morning. The location was really great for us, we could walk into Queenstown CBD easily (15 mins) but it should be noted if you have mobility issues the return journey is mostly uphill and could be classed as steep.
The room and location was amazing but the service lacked from difficult check in which they fixed to be fair so I can’t fault them there But poor housekeeping let them down here we where snowboarding everyday so we just wanted to come home to a nice made room but only 1 day of our whole week stay the bed was made before 4pm/ Later afternoon I thought housekeepers made rooms early idk? If it was a 5 star hotel I would expect the housekeeping and service to be more up to scratch but besides that everything else was good Would stay again
