Swiss International Palace Hotel Manama

1) Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the room and is extremely slow outside. 2) Room lighting is poor and gloomy. Swimming pool is full of mosquitoes. 3) Interiors are old. 4)They demanded hidden “tourism fees” which I refused to pay—completely unacceptable. 5) Loud club music all night, rooms aren’t soundproof, and sleep is impossible 6) We booked based on good Agoda reviews and their 4 star mentions , but the reality was far from it—totally not worth the money.

A self proclaimed "4 star" hotel. The room was out-dated, it seemed like the furniture and bathroom has been the same since the 1900s. The location of the hotel is incredibly sketchy, i would not recommend people with families or independent female travellers to stay in this area at all. Can you imagine jumping into a nice pool during your stay? well keep on imagining! because there was no water in the pool! during summer! There are much better options, please don't settle for this run down hotel.

Where to start? Honestly they don’t deserve 1 star. Hotel is old, rooms are old, mattresses and pillows are still the same since they open the hotel. Pool has no water, and the restaurant and nightclub are not good at all, I didn’t feel safe. The photos they have on their page and booking.com are photos when the hotel was brand new (long time back) I was very surprised when I reached. I stayed only one night and left that place. You can find more better options.
