Pros: -Spacious room -Quiet , Isolated, Peaceful -Beautiful view ** -Nice beach with clean and crystal clear water -Nice and friendly staffs / receptionists -Nice decors/ nice odors -Indoor swimming pool/ sauna Cons: - Far from everything (taxi costs is quite expensive to travel to other areas) - Old gym with no view and broken equipments - Lack of a feeling of 5 stars hotel, not attentive to little details, for examples, house keeping( not changing the used glass everyday, forgot to put a bathroom mat, not refilling the bottle of water and had to ask for it every single time/ slow service and had to ask twice.) - Limited breakfast options (only Turkish breakfast) - Inconsistent service, unavailable service (opening /closing time of the beach bar - on my first day, they said they were still cleaning the place and told us to come back after 2 hours. / no staffs at the pool area/ sometimes no towels then after a few day, they started to provide all those things. I don’t know whether it depends on how many guests they have on the house per day or what. But, it was sad if none of the facilities is fully ready for the guest to enjoy) - Only 2 Bottles of water is complimentary per day if you need more, you have to pay for 300 TL each which I’ve never seen in other 5 stars hotel. I don’t know if it’s a common practice here in Türkiye. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful holiday with a nice view if you’re okay to spend more on the taxi to go have some food at other places. I think it’s good to stay here for just 2-3 days, but not for a long stay as you will only get to eat the same breakfast everyday. Anyway, the staffs were all nice and kind. They tried to ask me if everything is okay every time they get the chance to which was very attentive. However, if the management would decrease the price of the food at the hotel to be more reasonable, add some more food options for guests and arrange all the facilities to be ready for guests to use, it would be much nicer and would bring more customers to come! Anyway, thanks all the staffs who were trying their best to accommodate us during our stays.
I recently stayed in the Executive Suite for 5 nights. The location is excellent — about 25 minutes from the marina — and the beach is beautiful and peaceful. The staff, especially the reception team and buggy drivers, were very kind and helpful. Big thanks to them! That said, there were a few things that didn’t meet expectations. When we checked in, we noticed that Turkish guests were offered cold towels, but we weren’t, which felt a bit inconsistent. Also, the breakfast buffet was cleared while I was still getting food at 10:45 AM, although it’s supposed to be open until 11. Oddly, on other days, the buffet stayed available until 11:30. The kitchen in the suite was almost empty — no coffee, no tea bags, and very minimal utensils. One of the side tables became unstable and needed a minor repair, but we were charged 100 euros for it, which felt excessive. In addition, housekeeping didn’t show up at all during the last two days. Also, note that beach towels tend to run out after 12 PM. Overall, while the setting and some of the staff were wonderful, I think the service and attention to detail could be improved for the experience to truly match the property’s potential.
The positive aspects are the comfortable beds and the overall decoration and ambiance used throughout the hotel, which are quite pleasant. Most importantly, all the staff — especially at the reception — are very helpful and always try to find solutions (will keep posting more as we are still staying at the hotel). The weakest link in the Swissotel chain. An incident that is unacceptable in a 5-star resort hotel: unless you are in the top room category, your room—even if it's a suite—has no balcony. The bedrooms don’t even have windows, and both bathrooms are so small it's hard to move around in them. There isn't even a designated space to hang wet swimsuits. Housekeeping service is very poor and is sometimes skipped altogether. There’s a good chance you won’t find the dish you want on the menu, because the response is often simply “we’re out of it.” Sometimes, you can’t even place an order as they say there’s an issue in the kitchen. Don’t go to the beach before 11 a.m. — leftover food plates and dirty towels from the previous day are still not cleared. Noon is the ideal time if you want a clean beach towel. Since there is no separate service elevator, you have to share the same elevator with housekeeping or room service staff. Both employees and hotel guests end up spending a lot of time just waiting for the elevator.
