We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. The views are absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The staff at the reception were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, though the selection might feel a bit limited if you’re staying for more than one night. One thing to note: the hairdryer is quite old, so if you have long hair, I recommend bringing your own. Overall, a lovely experience!
Incredible view! Friendly staff and the small town is very nice to visit!
Let me start by saying, my experience at this hotel wasn’t great—so much so that I honestly forgot the name until I looked it up again. Unfortunately, my stay here left a negative impression, not just on the hotel but on my entire trip to Portugal. The location is extremely isolated. There’s really nothing around apart from a steep road that leads to a small café and a church at the top. That’s about it. I tried to find somewhere to shop or explore and ended up taking a 15-minute Uber ride to a place called Casa China—but even that was disappointing, with most places closed and nothing much to see or do. The hotel itself is very old-fashioned and really needs an update. It felt like it might be more suitable for elderly guests looking for a quiet retreat, but for anyone hoping for entertainment, atmosphere, or even just a bit of life—it seriously misses the mark. There’s an “entertainment room,” but it’s just a small space with a snooker table and a few random books. No real entertainment. The swimming pool was closed (due to the season), but even if it were open, it didn’t look appealing—it felt completely lifeless. My room was cold and smelled strongly of cigarettes, like someone had been smoking in there before. The whole hotel felt tired and in need of renovation. Breakfast was also a letdown—it was repetitive and lacked variety. It felt like the same basic options every morning, which got boring quickly. To top it off, getting to the hotel was a hassle. We flew into Vigo Airport, and it took over two hours to reach the hotel. I know that’s not entirely the hotel’s fault, but combined with everything else, it added to the overall frustration—especially given how expensive the trip was. Unfortunately, I really can’t say anything positive about this place. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others. I think some of these reviews are fake. The view is nice though. You can take lots of "instagramable" pics!
