Really good food, very friendly staff, love the atmosphere - highly recommended
Nice little restaurant in Nieuwpoort near the fishing mine. The food is nice but not exceptional. Several dishes were rather bland and needed more seasoning. A nice little touch with the aperitif were the fresh shrimps. Friendly staff. Little parking opportunity.
Having read excellent reviews we booked a table for 10, clearly stressing twice that it was for 10. On arrival the booking had been registered for two. Everyone makes mistakes. However, we were then rudely dismissed by the manager as though the fault was ours for imagining a table for 10 was a possibility. We received no recognition or apology for the botched reservation or sensitivity at that our group was left in the lurch. The menu looks great but this event left a bad taste and I'm not tempted to try again.
