In general the hotel was nice. Well located, within walking distance to the old city and about 8 minutes to the metro station. The breakfast was not huge, but the variety was there. The air conditioning in each of the 4 rooms that we stayed in doesn’t work very well. The room stays around 25-26 degrees. Not possible to go down further
The hotel has a clean, nicely decorated vibe with pleasant aesthetics. Housekeeping did a good job keeping our room tidy. The included breakfast was decent nothing over the top. We appreciated the small in-room tea and coffee setup. Bathroom had the basics like shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Restaurant staff was genuinely kind and attentive. Location is good, there’s a nearby street with bars and cafes that’s great for a casual evening out. However, the room with a balcony was tiny, especially the bathroom, which felt cramped. Unfortunately, the AC didn’t work at all during our stay. We let the front desk know, but nothing was done, which made for some very uncomfortable nights. Beds were not comfortable, pillows were way too hard, and no alternatives were provided even after we asked. Apparently, they only have one iron and ironing board for the entire hotel… and it was never available when we needed it. Finally, reception staff seemed cold and unapproachable. Every interaction felt like we were an inconvenience. They did help a couple of times, but it felt forced. We have stayed in many boutique hotels and this one falls at the bottom of our list. It was a very basic boutique stay; served the purpose for our short trip since we were out and about most of the time. That said, between the AC issues, uncomfortable bedding, and unfriendly front desk, we wouldn’t stay here again. Wouldn’t go out of our way to recommend it either, there are likely better options in the area.
Check-in was smooth and the location is great, centrally situated and walkable to many key areas in Tbilisi. The bar/lounge staff were especially friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. That said, the hotel has a few comfort and maintenance issues. While there is central air conditioning, it seems inadequate; my room never cooled below 24C during the day, which made it uncomfortably warm. The pillows were extremely hard and difficult to sleep on, though the mattress itself was comfortable. I also experienced frequent issues with the water cutting off mid-shower, and the shower drain was very slow, allowing only quick rinses before risking overflow onto the bathroom floor. Overall, the hotel has potential with its location and staff, but the inconsistent water, poor cooling, and hard pillows made for a less restful stay.
