Taisugar Hotel Taipei

I stayed during 26 to 28 February. The room Is very spacious. Everything was good until both me and my friend got bitten by bed bugs. The bites were horrible and my legs were extremely itchy even after the doctor prescribed me the steroid cream. Their breakfast is till 10am. One of the staff keeps trying to clear our plates and told us they close the breakfast area at 10am. For 2 mornings we went breakfast the same staff kept annoying us coming close contact to us to clear the plates and constantly reminding us the timing.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. We found the staff to be unfriendly, especially during breakfast, and we truly felt unwelcome. The room was full of scratches and tears and need deep cleaning, the hotel itself felt very old, and the reception area was untidy. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The property could use a deep cleaning in the room carpets, window drapes and shower curtains . All of these had stains, moldy smells and dirty. Upon walking into the hotel lobby it always had a strong smell of sewer or something rank. It was also always pretty noisy outside whether music was playing from neighboring businesses late past 0200 at night or the busy road traffic outside. A 5 minute walk from Ximending Street Market
