Staff, service and location is amazing. The waiter at the Bistro dinner service on Monday went above and beyond. Turndown service was wonderful! Rooms are good - but wouldn’t call it 5 star hotel. The Bombay brasserie is closed on Monday night. Breakfast was average - oily and not much flavor. Dinner at the Bistro was good. Especially the mango pickle - homely.
Pretty decent stay with just a few issues for how much the hotel costs. Our room smelled with a strange odor the whole time. I assumed it would go away but it didn't. Also the bathroom is very nice and upgraded , but the shower head placement is terrible. It's at nose height (I'm average height), so you have duck in order to be under it. Employees are all very nice, but I wouldn't stay again unless addressed.
Location is good. Staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. The room seems not very sound proof and we can hear people’s noise in the next room. Bedding is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and good. However, the interior is kind of old and the hotel seems to be not as good as some other 5-star hotels.
