Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon Goa

We had an excellent stay at the Taj Cidade. Stayed at a sea view room. Amazing views. Thanks to the monsoon, the weather was great. Food was tasty, staff was super courteous and helpful. Always willing to go that extra mile for the guests ! To top it all, it's pet friendly so next time we will make sure to get our pet as well !

Great hotel with superb views. Got a sea facing room in the newer Horizon building. Room is well built with high tech facilities like Sensor based curtains opening and wardrobes with sensor equipped lights etc. Clean and high quality toiletries are provided. Ample space in the room as well. Facilities are good too. One of the staff mis-assigned me to a wrong room. Was trying to verify and was a bit rude to me treating me unlike the other guests given that we came as part of a corporate office group!!

Location is gorgeous with so much greenery you feel like you are staying in the middle of the forest. The view which is beachfront is also nice although I don’t know how swimmable the beach is as it looks quite rocky. The service was very disinterested and aloof and could benefit from a little more friendliness. The room had a few nice amenities but the WiFi was abysmal. Maybe because we were on the bottom floor so if you are combining work with your holiday get a room on the upper floors. I also think that the entire property could use a little refresh. Overall we would stay again for the location and being 5 minutes away from our relatives.
