We recently stayed at the Hotel Taj City Center to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and it was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the welcoming was very nice and made us feel immediately comfortable. Throughout our stay, all the staff members we encountered were incredibly kind, and the hospitality was top-notch. They really know how to make guests feel special, which added greatly to our celebration. The hotel has two main dining options: Shamiana and Wykiki. We loved dining at Shamiana; it has a very warm and pleasant atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal that cost us around ₹4,000 for two. Wykiki is more of a luxury bar experience and was a bit more expensive at about ₹6,000 for two, offering a different, upscale vibe. Regardless of where we ate, the food quality across the hotel was incomparable – simply excellent. We stayed in the Luxury Suite which included a personal jacuzzi, and it was fantastic. The room felt both cozy and luxurious, was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, and even included complimentary snacks – a lovely touch. The jacuzzi was a real highlight; it was very clean and surprisingly spacious, feeling more like our own private mini-pool than just a standard jacuzzi. Daily room cleaning and service kept everything perfect. Our total expense for the stay, including our meals and everything else, came to about ₹60,000. While this is a considerable amount, we honestly felt that the experience, the quality of service, the amazing room, and the delicious food made it completely worth the cost. It was the perfect place for a special celebration. If you're interested, you can see more photos from our wonderful stay on my Instagram: spicy_opisometer.

The experience was largely excellent, living up to the Taj name in many aspects. The staff at reception were courteous and prompt, especially during check-in and any assistance needed. The signature Taj fragrance infused throughout the property—from the lobby to the gym and even the bathroom—was a sensory delight. The infinity pool truly lived up to its name, offering a serene and luxurious ambiance. The gym, while aesthetically pleasing, was surprisingly under-equipped. It had basic equipment but when compared to a premium gym, it lacked way many equipments. Room service, though professional, was noticeably delayed. A dedicated staff member to guide guests upon arrival would’ve elevated the experience further. Despite a few shortcomings, the overall stay was memorable and enjoyable.

stayed at Taj City Centre last week for two days, and while there were some great highlights, a few things really pulled the experience down. The Good: The rooms were absolutely top-notch – spacious, clean, and elegantly designed with all modern amenities. The ambience throughout the hotel was excellent – luxurious, peaceful, and well-maintained. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or a business stay. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. From delayed room service to lack of coordination at the front desk, the hospitality didn’t match the Taj brand standard I expected. Requests took too long to be addressed, and overall staff attentiveness was poor. Overall: The property and rooms are fantastic, but the pathetic service experience really needs improvement. With better hospitality, this could easily be a 5-star stay.
