We had an amazing experience during our stay at the hotel, and it became even more special because of the thoughtful surprise they arranged for our marriage anniversary. From the beautiful room decoration and delicious cake to a soulful folk song performance and a lovely photograph capture — everything was perfect and heartwarming. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the hospitality throughout our stay was truly commendable. The property is set in a large farm area, offering a refreshing natural vibe along with a wide range of adventure activities (mostly chargeable), which kept us engaged and entertained. The breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. We also enjoyed the evening snacks, which were a nice touch. And to top it all off, we received a thoughtful gift at the time of checkout — such a sweet gesture! A bad thing only is location and way to reach hotel, 20-25 min road were bad .

The hotel facilities and activities are great. But probably not a good idea to go during peak time. We went on Independence day and staff was slammed. Service was slow and had to remind multiple times for any request. But overall staff is helpful and courteous. Food is good

I booked a Luxury Room Courtyard View with Sit-Out (Booking ID: REZ689C6367) at Taj Gateway Resort Damdama because the ground-level sit-out was important for my 4-year-old child’s safe play. Instead, on arrival, I was denied the booked category and given a balcony room with a broken railing, which was unsafe and unsuitable. When I raised the concern, I was told this was an “upgrade” — but it was done without my consent, against my requirements, and at the cost of my child’s safety. The only resolution offered was a complimentary dinner, which I refused, and I still paid in full for a ruined holiday. I always trusted the Taj brand for safety and service, but this experience left me deeply disappointed. Respect, transparency, and guest dignity should never be compromised.
