Great hotel! Something went wrong with our reservation; another (lesser) room was reserved for us, but this was more than made up for by Tariq at the reception! Every hotel wants a Tariq behind the reception! Unfortunately, this does not apply to everyone in this hotel. The breakfast boy clearly does not feel like it, finds his phone and leaning on his hands more important than the guests. The coffee cups were empty and we and the other guests had to put the hot coffee and even hotter tea in the juice glasses. He said bluntly that there were no cups, while we had indeed used them the day before. On our last morning we wanted to have breakfast at 7 o'clock (breakfast was from 7-10) because we had a long journey ahead of us, but he was too late. Eventually breakfast was ready at 7.30 and not really with a smile... Replenishment of tables and breakfast is poor. Too bad, the hotel is really nice. Great location, you can walk straight into the cozy "old" center and it is very clean with wonderful beds. Excellent price-quality ratio.
Mr. Yousif the receptionist is very polite and helpful Mss. Maha the buffet in charge is extremely nice and helpful I advise to try this cozy hotel
The hotel is located near local shops and it is about a ten minute walk to the main beach road. The breakfast is typical middle eastern style. Cereal,Olives, boiled eggs, sausages, nuggets, cheese, cold meat,bread, hummus etc with omelettes cooked to order. The person in charge is very accommodating and you will certainly find something to like. We are in a suite with two bedrooms and a sitting area. The description says it has a kitchen but actually it's a sink with surfaces like a kitchen but no cutlery or plates and only small cups. There is a standard size refrigerator with a small ice box. There is a shower but no bath. For the price it is good value. Toiletries are provided and if you dial 9 on the internal phone they will happily resupply any items that are used up. There is free WiFi but it isn't consistent. Sometimes it is fast but at other times it disconnects completely.
